I had a just wonderful night yesterday. Heidy came over, and we made dinner together (Stay tuned for the first installment of my new semi-regular feature, “Heidy and Erin Cook!”. Heidy gave me a lovely, lovely christmas gift- a beautiful recipe folder and Sky High: Incredible Triple-Layer Cakes, over which I’d been salivating since it was first mentioned on Smitten Kitchen.
After dinner, we got a cab down to the Wharf theatre, where Belles Will Ring played an intimate two-set show. There were maybe 100 people there, drinking wine and sitting right below the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It was a lovely night, a lovely vibe, and lying around in bed til late this morning, I’m still happy.
