About Me

Since graduating with a degree in history, specialising in sport history with a thesis on the history of Australian Rules football in NSW before 1982, I’ve taught sport history at UNSW, worked as a sports journalist and then at a professional football club, left to go work in a less-specialised communications role, completed an MLitt in US Studies, interned in US Congress, given a lecture on Australian sport history at Georgetown University, worked as a US political blogger, acted as a social media consultant, taught US Politics at USyd, drafted most of one book and started on another, and perfected the home-made pork and fennel sausage roll.
It’s been exhausting.
